From competitive figure skating to the Okanagan wine industry to building Urban Liquor, Riki’s path has been anything but linear.
After arriving in Kelowna in the early 2000s, Riki built a career in wine and watched the Okanagan industry grow around her. Eventually, she saw an opportunity to create the kind of wine shop she felt Kelowna was missing, and Urban Liquor was born.
Riki shares the journey that brought her here, from sport and motherhood to wine, entrepreneurship and building a business in a changing city.
